Our Commitment to GDPR

On May 25, 2018, a European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), came into effect. The GDPR imposes new rules on companies, government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations that offer goods and services to people in the European Union (EU), or that collect and analyze data tied to EU citizens. The GDPR applies no matter where you are located. Keeping users’ information safe and secure is among our highest priorities at ProcureKey.

In Europe, though, GDPR represents one of the most robust data privacy laws in the world. It gives people the right to ask companies how their personal data is collected and stored, how it’s being used, and request that personal data be deleted. It also requires that companies clearly explain how your data is stored and used, and get your consent before collecting it. “Personal data,” in this case, refers to things like a person’s name, email, and IP address, but also pseudonymized information that could be traced back to them.

Consent
A significant aspect of GDPR involves ensuring to anyone we email or we collect data from, in the EU has given us consent to do so. Organizations need to collect the consent of individuals to hold their data. To accommodate this, users of our ProcureKey modules will now asked to provide explicit permission for email contact & personal information collection, whenever they download our modules. If they do not check this box, we cannot collect their information.
Products Data

ProcureKey leverages Office365 and Microsoft Azure for its cloud data management – ensuring GDPR compliance.

We collect data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our products. We collect it some of it by recording how you interact with our products by, for example, using technologies like cookies, and receiving error reports or when you contact us directly. We do not obtain data from any third parties.

We use the data we collect to provide you the products we offer, which includes using data to improve and personalize your experiences. We also may use the data to communicate with you, during support consulting or troubleshooting sessions and sharing new product updates with you. However, we do not use what you say in email, chat, video calls or voice mail, or your documents, photos or other personal files to target third party ads to you.

We do not share your personal data with Advertisement providers or any third parties.
